What does it look like
a session out?

The training is not intensive or unpleasant, and you won't feel a thing. You don't need to do anything: your brain does the necessary work itself.

We’ll begin by placing the sensors. You’ll sit in a comfortable chair and have five sensors placed on your head: two on the left side and three on the right side.

After the sensors have been fitted, you'll be given headphones to wear; during the training, you'll listen to music. If you like, you can also close your eyes while listening. We also offer the option to watch a film instead of listening to music. This makes our training method suitable for children too, as they can simply watch their favourite film.

While you are listening or watching, sensors measure your brain activity. The NeurOptimal® neurofeedback software then analyses this activity and records at which moments instability occurs in your brain activity. When this happens, NeurOptimal® detects it and the sound is briefly interrupted. This is the learning moment for the brain; this improves the resilience and flexibility of your brain.

After the session, we'll go through the results together, and there will be time for coaching and (lifestyle) advice.
